Il Signore non è un giudice iniquo che noi dobbiamo stancare con la nostra insistenza.
La parabola usa l’immagine di una situazione estrema: da una parte una povera vedova, che nel tempo antico era la persona più indifesa e più in basso nella scala sociale. D’altra parte un giudice a cui non importa di niente e di nessuno.
Se anche in questa situazione totalmente sfavorevole la povera vedova riesce ad ottenere giustizia solo con la sua insistenza, TANTO PIÙ noi con la preghiera riusciremo ad ottenere LA GIUSTIZIA DI DIO che ci ama.
E Dio non farà forse giustizia ai suoi eletti, che gridano giorno e notte verso di lui? Li farà forse aspettare a lungo? Io vi dico che farà loro giustizia prontamente
Gridare giorno e notte verso il Signore desiderando la giustizia significa avere il desiderio profondo che si compia il progetto di Dio in noi.
Non è della giustizia di questo mondo che qui si parla, ma della salvezza di Dio, del regno di Dio, dell’amore di Dio.
Perchè questo si realizzi ci vuole prima di tutto l’aiuto di Dio, ma anche la FEDE dei discepoli. La preghiera fatta con fede otterrà la giustizia di Dio.
Ma il Figlio dell’uomo, quando verrà, troverà la fede sulla terra?».
La preghiera deve esprimere tutto quello che crediamo e speriamo e deve essere disponibile a comprendere e a vivere le proposte e le occasioni di fare il bene che il Signore ci presenta ogni giorno.
Ogni giorno il cristiano è chiamato a mettere a frutto i talenti che il Signore gli ha dato, ma contemporaneamente deve con fiducia affidare la propria vita nelle mani di Dio.
Nessuno ponga il suo vanto negli uomini, perché tutto è vostro: 22Paolo, Apollo, Cefa, il mondo, la vita, la morte, il presente, il futuro: tutto è vostro! 23Ma voi siete di Cristo e Cristo è di Dio. (1 Cor 3,21-23)
In questo contesto il testo della prima lettura tratta dal Libro dell’Esodo con Mosè in preghiera durante la battaglia di Israele contro di Amaleciti, assume un valore simbolico della battaglia spirituale contro il male.
La vittoria di Israele non dipende né dal numero né dalla capacità di suoi uomini, ma dalla preghiera di Mosè. Finché le mani di Mosè rimangono alzate in preghiera, Israele vince.
Certo Israele non potrebbe vincere se i suoi uomini non combattessero con tutte le loro forze, ma l’esito finale della battaglia dipende dalla preghiera di Mosè.
Questo vale per tutti gli aspetti della vita cristiana che è certo opera nostra, ma è soprattutto dono di Dio, grazia di Dio, aiuto di Dio e amore di Dio.
